    Live @ Glasgow Pavillion 1990
A gem of a release entitled Live @ Glasgow Pavilion
A brilliant gig still talked about to this day, somehow found its way into Martin’s hands after a gig a a few years back.
We do know it was mixed and recorded by our sound man Mr Gerard Rolfe, whose company Coast to Coast hailed from Bradford.
This is the Daintees in effortless swing, “an absolutely brilliant gig” were the words of our mastering engineer Mark Lough last week as he was busy mastering.
The sound quality is outstanding with just one of two authentic crackles.

lyrics

Spoke In The Wheel
Isn’t bald isn’t bruising
Has its flaws, it has it’s uses
It is not the rain, It is like the day
It’s more like a little spoke in the wheel

Doesn’t con though it muses
Neither fawn neither aged
It is not the Lord
Though it shuns the fall
Its more like a little spoke in the wheel

Fall, wintorm, ire raise
Fall, wintorm, ire raise

Has its cause, it has its face
It doesn’t cost to embrace
It doesn’t mind the rain, it is like the day
But it’s more like a little spoke in the wheel

Neither wired nor invalid
Cannot be made could not be harassed
It doesn’t rhyme with thumb
And it never sings the blues
It’s more like a little spoke in the wheel

See it pawned see it vacant
Neither fawn, neither aged
It is not the Lord
Though it shuns the fall
It’s more like a little spoke in the wheel
